Drummer concentration

During Holy Week 2009, one of the challenges that the Friends of the Drum set for ourselves was that the drums would tobarreños resound in the streets at times when they usually did not do so in the desired magnitude. In short, we had to get the drums out on the streets.

To this end, we set out to promote a large concentration of drummers Thursday Holy morning, It was a great success in terms of participation and attendance. It had been many years since we had seen in the streets so many drummers together on a morning of Thursday Holy.

From then on, every year, the Friends of the Drum and its collaborators set up a small bar where the participants of the gathering are offered a few beers and a small “snack” at the expense of the association. This simple initiative has become one of the most important drummer moments The basic events that take place during Holy Week in Tobarra.
