This year we were finally able to incorporate, despite the difficulties (lack of material and, above all, financial resources), some significant changes. Tob'Art IX was organised and developed on 1 and 2 April at the Avenida de la Constitución. Of course, the usual stands with samples of handicrafts, jewellery drums and various other drum-related products, as well as the usual workshops on fretwork, kid skin patching and drum tuning were not to be missed.
The most relevant novelties were, for example, an exhibition of photographs showing the drummers“ moments that make Easter Week so special in Tobarra, as well as other miscellaneous photographs, and even files of the ”cuadrillas" with their data, logos, attire, etc. Various children's activities were also programmed, such as a "globotada", a gymkhana or the prize-giving ceremony of the drawing competition (all of them with the collaboration of the association "Semana Santa"). Hopscotch). For the older ones, beers and tapas were available at popular prices, with the collaboration of the surrounding bars and pubs. On the musical side, on Saturday there was a spectacular concert by a percussion quartet led by Jesús Martínez López from Tobarreño, and on Sunday there was the traditional drum playing exhibition where, as has been the norm in recent years, the delegation that represented us in that year's “La Exaltación” in Alcañiz stood out: La Zapatiesta.
