The big moment has finally arrived. After two hard years of hiatus, we returned with a new edition of the Drum and Percussion Craft Show. The weather was not good, as the cold and the wind kept us company during the whole day, but this circumstance did not paralyse our desire and that of the people who attended the event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time it was the turn of the Avenida de la Constituci\u00f3n<\/em>, The event was scheduled for a single day, in contrast to previous years when it took up two days. We conclude that this decision has turned out to be a wise decision, as a day well spent can be very profitable and has the advantage that a good package of activities can be condensed into less time, which makes the event more accessible and attractive for these times of haste and immediacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the morning, children's games were programmed, as well as the usual craft stalls where you could see some of the jewels of the drum as well as buy related articles of the highest quality, such as straps, sticks and even drums. It is worth mentioning that the photography exhibition is becoming more and more important for the \"cuadrillas\", as year after year there are more and more registered cards and photographs that we are able to exhibit. We understand that it is important to show this essential part of the Semana Santa in Tobarra, the \"cuadrillas\", and for this reason we invite anyone who reads this text, has a cuadrilla in Tobarra and has not yet filled in the form, to take a step and thus be able to appear with the rest in successive years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a break for lunch, the second part of the event began, which included some juicy novelties. To begin with, our president led an interesting discussion\/colloquium between artisans, in which we were able to see that this art is in good hands for the future. Francisco Noguer\u00f3n Moreno \u201cNogue\u201d, Jes\u00fas Hern\u00e1ndez Espadas \u201cEl Badul\u201d, Javier Santos Garc\u00eda \u201cTxetxu\u201d, Jos\u00e9 Manuel Villena Carretero \u201cJosema\u201d and \u00c1ngel Manuel S\u00e1nchez L\u00f3pez \u201cMillones\u201d collaborated. Apart from the talk, they exhibited some of their jewel drums for the enjoyment of the attendees. We also presented the new digital magazine 104 Hours<\/a><\/em>, You can enjoy it on this website and, as is well known, it is open to the collaboration of anyone who wishes to do so and considers that they have something to contribute. To finish, what better culmination than an exhibition of drumming, an aperitif for the coming of the Easter Sunday<\/em>, The 104 hours of uninterrupted drumming come to an end at midnight (by the way, this year it has been apotheosis). Students from the children's and youth drumming classes of our town, representatives from Hell\u00edn and Agram\u00f3n as guest towns and the delegation from Tobarre\u00f1a who played for all the people of Tobarre\u00f1o and Tobarre\u00f1a at the Jornadas Nacionales de Exaltaci\u00f3n del Tambor y el Bombo de Alcorisa (National Days of Exaltation of the Drum and Bass Drum of Alcorisa) performed. By the way, all of them spectacular performances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In short, an excellent return to traditions and a reunion in style with all those things that we always try to offer to those who visit us at this time of year. It only remains for us to mention that we hope that we will never again have to put on pause this significant event, a perfect appetizer for what awaits us every year at Easter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
