The first handicraft exhibition dates back to 2009 (29th and 29th March in the bullring La Cubierta<\/em>), and since then it has been christened as the Tob'Art<\/em><\/strong>. The programme that was drawn up 13 years ago included the following events, spread over the two days of the weekend: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday: The doors opened at 16:00, with the permanent exhibition of our craftsmen. At 17:00h, two parallel workshops began, one on hoop fretwork, run by craftsmen, and the other on the construction of percussion instruments, run by Gaiter\u00eda Tremol. <\/em>We continued with a flamenco caj\u00f3n demonstration by Valeriano, from the stand he set up. Senbar\u00e9, artisans of the flamenco caj\u00f3n (box-drum)<\/em>, The concert began at 17:30, with a parade by the group Perturbasi\u00f3n, which consisted of a batukada in which anyone could participate with casual instruments (ladles, saucepans, saucepans, etc.). The music teacher Joaqu\u00edn Arias, rescuer of antique instruments, showed us various traditional and almost extinct instruments (panderos, tablillas de San L\u00e1zaro, tejoletas, etc.), and spoke to us about their history, playing techniques, development, etc. Finish at 21:00h with the great concert. Percussion is something else<\/em>, by the local group mentioned above: Disturbance<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday: The morning started at 10:30 am with a workshop on leather patching, again by our renowned craftsmen. At 11:00h the craftsman Pedro Campos delighted us with an exhibition of percussion instruments, their history and playing techniques. This was followed by an exhibition of drum playing, in which all those interested in showing the audience the benefits of playing tobarre\u00f1o drums were able to take part, with prior registration. To finish, there was a popular meal at the AAT stand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
