One of our first steps was to set up a National Exhibition of Drum and Percussion Crafts, Tob'art, which we have been running since 2009.
Tob'Art has been running since 2009, and in 2019 it celebrated its 11th edition. After what will be two blank years due to the global pandemic, we will return when the circumstances are right.
In this exhibition we offer the possibility of showing/observing all kinds of objects related to drums and percussion, as well as a multitude of photos and information panels with a related theme (drum groups, drummers“ moments, snippets of history, etc.). Every year the number of visitors increases and so do the sales for the artisans, who exhibit their drums here, some of which are considered authentic ”jewels" (and other fundamental elements, such as sticks of excellent workmanship and design). We also hold practical workshops such as hoop fretwork, kid skin patching and many others that we are introducing every year.
The event closes with an exhibition of drumming, in which we are visited by colleagues from other regions to whom we will always be grateful.
Tob'Art always takes place two weekends before the beginning of Easter.
