On 9 February, the event took place in the municipal sports hall “La Granja” to present the posters for Easter Week in Tobarra 2024, which marks the start of all the Semana Santa events that will take place until the festivity arrives.
The Federation of Brotherhoods, as usual, carried out this presentation through the representation of typical and traditional scenes that we can all experience during the days in which our Holy Week and its beloved 104h are celebrated.
The presentation was made of this year's town crier, María Dolores Garrido, and we were able to enjoy both the musical performances of the AM. Santa Mujer Verónica and our dear Official Delegation “A las 12 Cortamos”, which will represent us in the Jornadas Nacionales del Tambor y el Bombo that this year will be held in Andorra de Teruel. A performance that left us eager to see how far they will be able to go on the day of the festival.
As for the presentation of our Tamborada poster, entitled “The Legacy of Craftsmanship” and a tribute to the craft of drumming, designed by arthe, with a drawing of the lathe by Miguel Martínez, “Gilito”, with photographs by: Guillermo A. Paterna, Juan Enrique Morcillo, Diego J. Santos, María Guerrero and Antonio García, it was a sensation for everyone, presenting an original and different poster to all those previously presented, as it is die-cut in the shape of the lathe.
We were accompanied by friends of the drummers such as Hellín, Agramón and Jumilla, who completed a night full of good vibrations and moments to share, just as we do when we enjoy our drumming.
