This year he played Tob'Art X in the bullring La Cubierta on 17 and 18 March. The core of the show, what has always been present (i.e. exhibitions of handicrafts, jewel drums and quadrilles, artisan stands for the sale of products and workshops for patching kid skins, fretwork of hoops and screws and drum tuning), remained in force.
Due to the success of the event, the dynamic of "cañas y tapas" and the children's workshops continued (once again run by Hopscotch). A parade of the drum schools for children and adults was scheduled, but we were forced to cancel it due to inclement weather (the same reason why we moved to the bullring, as it was unfeasible to set it up in the bullring). Avenida de la Constitución). Apart from all this, there was also a flamenco cajón workshop led by the maestro Iván Sánchez Molina from Tobarreño.
As a tribute to the tenth anniversary of the Muestra de Artesanía del Tambor y la Percusión (Drum and Percussion Craft Show), it paid tribute to the drumming groups of Tobarra, on the one hand, by displaying at the stand of the Friends of the Drum Association (AAT) The census and information sheets of the groups registered up to that moment and, on the other hand, with the exhibition of drumming on Sunday, in which participated in a spectacular and virtuous session the groups representing Tobarra in the days of exaltation of the last 8 years (since the selection has been in charge of the AAT: La Almeja, Los del Kalvario, Peo&Perdíos, El Dominio, La Zaragata, El Exceso, La Zapatiesta y Los Zumbaos. That was the most popular moment, together with the concert that was scheduled for Saturday night, starring the mythical and well loved local band Dyc Passport.
